Estar na Garganta del Diablo e poder sentir toda a energia que emana das águas do Rio Iguaçu é uma experiência sensorial inesquecível.
Tínhamos pouco tempo sobrando em Foz do Iguaçu, mas queríamos muito conhecer o lado argentino das famosas Cataratas, então tratamos de descobrir uma forma rápida de chegar ao Parque Nacional Iguazú, curtir um pouco da Garganta del Diablo e contar aqui para você.
> Como chegar:
Existem várias opções de transportes partindo de Foz para Puerto Iguazú, a mais barata é de ônibus você pode ver uma lista com os horários e descritivos dos itinerários diretamente no site da prefeitura. Alugar um carro é a outra opção, lembrando que você pagará estacionamento no Parque Nacional Iguazú. Ir com uma agência de viagem tem um ótimo custo benefício, mas você ficará atrelado aos horários definidos pela agência, e a opção mais cara mas ao mesmo tempo mais rápida e prática é o táxi pagamos R$180,00 em junho/2016, é a opção de transporte privativo enquanto ainda não tem UBER na cidade.
> Atravessando a fronteira:
Não esqueça de levar junto sua carteira de identidade (em bom estado de conservação) ou então seu passaporte – lembrando que se você levar o passaporte ganhará um carimbo de entrada e outro de saída da Argentina -. A carteira de motorista também é aceita, mas só serve para quem vai ficar até no máximo três dias no outro lado da fronteira.
> Dinheiro:
Outra coisa importante é levar Pesos Argentinos para pagar o ingresso, esta é a única forma aceita para pagamentos, eles até fazem o câmbio de Reais por lá só que fica geralmente entre 10% e 30% mais caro do que no lado brasileiro. O ingresso custa AR$ 330,00 por pessoa (em 11/2016) e o parque abre das 8:00 às 18:00. Os preços e horários atualizados podem ser conferidos neste link.
> O Parque:
Na área interna do parque existem algumas opções para ver as quedas d’água os principais passeios são: Circuito Superior; Circuito Inferior e Garganta del Diablo.
O ideal é um dia inteiro para visitar todas as áreas, mas se você tiver o mesmo problema de tempo que nós vá pelo menos à Garganta que é incrível!
Existe um trem que leva até a entrada da Garganta del Diablo e sai a cada 30 minutos da primeira estação. Nós resolvemos fazer a primeira parte do caminho a pé, uma caminhada com cerca de 15 minutos, bem leve, em meio à mata até a Estação Cataratas onde esperamos o trem para a estação final.
O percurso para chegar à Garganta é feito por uma passarela de ferro construída dentro da água, a passarela tem uma distância total de 2.200 metros (ida e volta).
Pessoas com dificuldades de locomoção e idosos podem usar cadeiras de rodas, o caminho é super acessível.
Quanto mais perto vamos chegando maior é a emoção e o barulho das quedas. O tempo mínimo para completar este passeio é de 2 horas.
Todos visitantes ficam em uma plataforma ampla e conseguem se locomover, literalmente, por cima das cataratas, sob um vão com cerca de 80 metros de altura.
A velocidade da água chega a dar uma certa vertigem dependendo do ângulo da visão. É um lugar extraordinário, uma experiência única.
Quando o nível da água é muito alto, geralmente em época de muita chuva, a passarela se desprende da estrutura principal para não comprometer o concreto das pilastras, nestes dias não se tem acesso a Garganta do Diabo mas o parque pode ser visitado normalmente.
Na volta, enquanto esperávamos o trem, resolvemos fazer um lanche, nesta hora é que lembramos deles: os quatis! São lindos mas também famintos então tome muito cuidado principalmente quando estiver com crianças pois eles tentam pegar os alimentos das mãos dos visitantes com aquelas garras super afiadas, podem causar de arranhões até ferimentos profundos.
Foi uma pena que não tivemos mais tempo para poder aproveitar as outras vistas da Catarata, mas mesmo assim foi muito bom poder ter vivido um pouco do que é o lado argentino dessa Maravilha da Natureza.
O Parque Nacional Iguazú é muito bem cuidado, com excelente infraestrutura, trilhas bem sinalizadas e seguras com vários pontos para fotografias. Vale muito uma visita.

I made these last night and then brought half of them into work today, everyone at worked loved them! I was thinking about bringing some more in tomorrow but when I came home my boyfriend had eaten the whole other half! I did get to eat a few, don’t worry, and they were outstanding!!!!! I disagree. I don’t think this has anything to do with Obama. After a year and a half a movie with no production date and financial backing is too risky to get involved with.
